As you begin to consider everything you will do during a family vacation at Disney World, you may get slightly overwhelmed. After all, there is so much to keep in mind. Which Disney parks will you visit? Which rides will you go on? How will you get to the Disney parks? Where will you stay? As a travel advisor, I can help you answer all those questions. 1. Early Theme Park Entry and Late Night Hours

All Disney parks allow guests of Disney World properties to enter 30 minutes prior to opening. This gives you additional time to go on certain rides. Plus, instead of arriving in an already long line at your favorite attraction, you will be close to the front of the line.

Certain Disney World properties also allow guests to stay at Disney Parks for extended evening hours. Currently, those Disney properties include Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts.

2. The Magic of Disney

Staying at a Disney World property allows your family to live in the magic 24/7. Instead of experiencing magical moments while at a Disney Park, you can find them all over the properties too. I am talking about those special magical moments in your room, around the resort, and even at the swimming pool.

And who doesn’t love a little extra magic during a Disney vacation?!

3. Extra Touches Throughout the Day

Imagine heading back to your Disney resort to enjoy a little downtime after a day at the park. Now, think about how you want to spend the rest of the day. Do you just want to relax in your room? Or would you rather watch a movie at the pool or participate in a little trivia?

Sometimes I am not ready to spend hours in my room. So, those last two options would be perfect for me!

Those little extras are also perfect for those days when you decide to stay away from the parks and simply enjoy the Florida sunshine.

4. Convenience

When you take a Disney vacation, you are going to realize there isn’t enough time to do everything you want to. Well, staying at a Disney World property is convenient and can save you time. You don’t need to travel too far to reach any of the Disney parks. And heading back to your room for a nap won’t take longer than it should.

Imagine all the time you would waste if you wanted to nap at your hotel a half hour from the parks. If you got stuck in traffic, the commute time would be even longer.

5. Swimming Pools

Yes, practically every hotel in Orlando has a swimming pool. However, the swimming pools at Disney World properties are amazing. Most of them have themes and pool bars. This means the kids, and you, will enjoy all the time you spend at the pool.

6. Disney Transportation

Do you dislike trying to get directions to where you are going while on a family vacation? Or sitting in the car looking at the GPS instead of enjoying the scenery around you? Well, when you stay on a Disney World property, you can take advantage of Disney’s transportation.

Depending on where you are staying and which Disney Park you are headed to, you may find yourself on a bus, boat, monorail, or the Disney Skyliner. You can get on any of these whenever you want and get to where you want to go when you stay on Disney property.

7. Early Access to Dining Reservations

One of the best reasons to stay on Disney World property is to claim early access to dining reservations. If you have a child who wants to dine with a specific Disney character or you want to dine at a specific restaurant, you need to get those reservations in as soon as possible. Things book quickly at Disney World, so I always recommend taking advantage of all the early access perks offered to you. In this case, it means staying on a Disney property to take advantage of that early access.

8. Charge Purchases to Your Room

The very last reason why you should stay on Disney World properties is you can charge all your purchases to your room. Simply use your Magic Band to purchase souvenirs and other items. All your purchases will then be charged to your room. All you will need to do is pay the bill when you checkout.
