In the hustle and bustle of your everyday life, you probably never gave being a lazy mom a thought. After all, you are so busy taking your kids to school, activities, and sports. Add in work, meetings, grocery shopping, and all those other errands and an actual lazy mom’s day is never on your radar. But what if you could embrace National Lazy Mom’s Day? Yes, it is an actual holiday! (I was shocked to see it myself!) And I guarantee you can embrace it without stopping all the juggling you are doing. You can still do all the things, but take the easy way out by having a travel advisor like myself plan your next family vacation.
You may be wondering about the pros and the cons of taking the lazy mom way out and hiring a travel advisor. I can tell you there are plenty of pros to using a travel advisor. And no cons if you use the right travel advisor!
Are you ready to see how amazing being a lazy mom can be when you choose to work with me as your travel advisor? I hope so, because you really don’t know what you are missing!
Did you know that it can take between 10 and 20 hours to completely plan a family vacation? These hours are spent researching where you want to go and stay. You also need to book accommodations, flights, transportation, and tickets to attractions. Add in the extra time to determine where you should eat, reservations that may need to be made, and other extras and it can be difficult to get it all done in time.
Oh, and did I mention you are supposed to do that in between all the other things you do every single day? If you cherish your downtime, and sleep, I recommend you embrace your lazy mom side for this.
Travel advisors will do all that work for you. I start by asking my client specific questions. The answers I receive allow me to book family vacations everyone loves.
Imagine taking a fabulous family vacation you didn’t plan. And imagine what you can accomplish in all the time you saved by having someone else plan the vacation for you. I’m telling you; the lazy mom method works in this scenario…
You know how I just mentioned that I ask specific questions to plan your family vacation? Well, I use the answers you give me to include personal experiences in your trip. As a mom of six kids, I know it is those personal experiences your family is going to remember the most. And we both know that making memories is key when we are traveling with family.
When you book a flight on your own, who do you call when the flight gets cancelled? You need to call the airline, which usually means a long time on hold. When you have a travel advisor like myself plan your family vacation for you, I am there with you all the way until the end. So if a flight is cancelled, I take the time to get you on another one.
If an activity you have booked is cancelled, I make sure you have an alternative plan. I could go on and on with my list of what could happen and how I fix it, but I think you get the idea.
These are only a couple of the pros you will experience when you choose to work with me as your travel advisor. There are many other you will discover, as we go through the planning process. I encourage you to embrace National Lazy Mom’s Day and skip over planning your family vacation this year. Instead, save yourself time and stress by working with a travel advisor like myself.
