Choosing which UNESCO Heritage sites to see can be challenging. I recommend making a list of the ones you want to see the most and then grouping them by destination. Or you can simply group them all by destination and start working your way down the list until you have seen them all.  

There is truly no right or wrong way to experience the history of the world as an adventurous traveler.  Just don’t skip over the underrated UNESCO Heritage sites during your family vacation. 

Go On a Long Cruise 

Yes, most cruises are seven to fourteen days long. However, did you know you can take a cruise that lasts for more than two hundred days? There is even a cruise that lasts for an entire year! 

Imagine spending your nights on the cruise ship and your days in different ports around the world. This is one of the best ways to see multiple countries and cities. You can easily check numerous items off your travel bucket list when you consider one of these cruises.  

And yes, I know most families could not spend this much time on vacation. But if you are in a position to do it, think of all the memories you will make in the process.

Okay, so taking a family vacation that focuses on your passion may not work too well. Unless you manage to incorporate your passion into what can be a dream vacation for everyone else. Or your entire family has the same passion.
