Magic Kingdom is where lots of the magic happens at Disney World. At least for many families anyway. This is the most popular theme park for family vacations. Inside Magic Kingdom, you will find multiple lands filled with incredible attractions. All those attractions are designed to keep you busy in between shows and shopping adventures. But how do you know which attractions are the best at Magic Kingdom? Well, you could guess. Or you can keep reading to see what I have determined are the best attractions at Magic Kingdom.
Space Mountain continuously comes out on top as the best attraction at Magic Kingdom. When you enter the ride, you will board Starport 75. The Starport 75 will take you into outer space for the adventure of a lifetime. It is almost always dark inside this ride. Keep this in mind if you think the kids will be scared. However, galactic stars can be seen shooting everywhere. So, it might not be as dark as your kids think.
The Haunted Mansion can be found in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. This haunted attraction is all about happy haunts and not scary ones. So, even the little ones will enjoy the eerie happenings as you explore the mansion. The good news is you don’t walk around this attraction at Magic Kingdom. You ride through it in a doom buggy. That means the kids can easily close their eyes if they do get scared.
Dumbo is another popular attraction at Magic Kingdom. This ride is in Storybook Circus. It is usually best to arrive at this ride early in the day to avoid long lines. Your family can magically fly through the sky on an elephant. This is an excellent ride when you want to see spectacular views of the surrounding areas of the park.
Is your family competitive? Well, take all that competitiveness with you to Magic Kingdom. Then use it after you board Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. You will need it to help Buzz defeat Evil Emperor Zurg. All you need to do is shoot the different targets during your ride. The ride keeps score. You can easily compare scores and see who came out on top at the end.
As long as you don’t mind having this song in your head for the remainder of your family vacation, this is an excellent ride. Everyone in the family will love sitting in the boat as it sails through different countries. Check out the singing dolls that represent each country during your journey.
No visit to the Magic Kingdom is complete until your family has joined the seven dwarfs on an adventure. Climb on board the mine carts to head down into the mines to find precious gems. You never know which of the dwarfs you will see during the train ride. And you may even spot Snow White during your journey.
If your kids love roller coasters, they may want one a little more adventurous than the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. If that is the case, head over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This runaway mine train goes through mines and caverns as it twists and turns along the way. It is one thrill your family won’t forget.
The Pirates of the Caribbean is the last of the best attractions at Magic Kingdom. This ride is located in Adventureland. Your family can board a boat and then be transported down the river to where the pirates all hang out. Be prepared to sing, Yo Ho A Pirate’s Life for Me the entire time!
These are the best attractions at Magic Kingdom. You will want to put them all at the top of your list so you don’t miss out on any of them! Oh, and if you are tired of Magic Kingdom, check out these interesting theme parks around the world. Maybe one of those will pique your interest!
