Dubai is a thrilling city filled with family friendly activities. During your family vacation in Dubai, you can spend your days exploring historic attractions and destinations. This is also a shopping mecca complete with malls, souqs, and annual shopping festivals. Basically, if you can’t find what you want in Dubai, it doesn’t exist! A few of the best places to see in Dubai are best seen at night. Despite being on a family vacation, you can enjoy rooftop dinners and concerts underneath the stars.
As you are planning your next family vacation in Dubai, you must keep a few things in mind. First, it is imperative you plan your trip carefully. The temperatures during the summer months in this city can reach 100 degrees or higher. Therefore, you may want to schedule your family vacation for a time when you all won’t bake under the summer sun. Although, if the heat doesn’t bother you, this is an excellent time to avoid the crowds of the cooler seasons.
Once you determine the time of year you are vacationing in Dubai, you can decide which attractions you will see. It will also be the time to determine which adventures your family would like to take. Today I will be sharing the best places to see in Dubai, so you can start to create a plan in your mind.
There are multiple theme parks located in Dubai. If your family loves making memories while going on rides, you must visit at least once during your vacation in Dubai. Rides that will make you feel like you are part of a movie can be found at Bollywood Parks Dubai. It is all about Legos at LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND Water Park. And if you want to step back in time, your family can visit the Smurfs at Motiongate Dubai.
Down in the City Walk District is where your family will find Green Planet. This amazing natural ecosystem is packed with plants and animals. Imagine walking amongst the animals including geckos, porcupines, toucans, and a slower than slow sloth.
There is so much for your family to do during a beach day at Kite Beach. I recommend beginning by taking a swim and building a sandcastle. From there, you can watch the kite surfers until the kids want to play on the adventure course at Wire World. My favorite part about this beach is the food trucks and other nearby restaurants. They all make it so easy to grab a bite to eat or get a drink throughout the day.
During family vacations, you need a little downtime to relax and talk. The perfect place to do both those things in Dubai is Zabeel Park. Picnic lunches are popular inside this park in Dubai. But you can also play mini golf or shop at the pop-up markets.
An abundance of family adventures can be found at Hatta Wadi Hub in Dubai. Your days here can be spent mountain biking, hiking the trails, and kayaking. You may even decide to go zorbing down a hill.
Okay, so the kids might not be thrilled to wander around a garden filled with flowers while on vacation in Dubai. But, since this garden features 45 million blooming flowers, they may allow a short visit. You must plan your vacation in Dubai carefully if you want to see this garden when all the flowers are in bloom.
AquaFun is a floating obstacle course in the water at The Beach. Take your family and spend a few hours testing your balance and swimming skills!
You can ski in Dubai year-round, thanks to Ski Dubai being inside the Mall of the Emirates! This ski destination offers plenty of snowy day activities for families. If your family doesn’t love skiing, you can snowboard or use one of the toboggans. Just don’t forget to build a snowman before you leave!
Would your family love being in an anti-gravity area? Or a rotating room? What about a tunnel that never seems to end? All those places can be found inside the Museum of Illusions. You won’t want to miss spending a little time at this museum filled with tricks that will delight your senses.
The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo can be found at the Dubai Mall. You can see thousands of marine animals at this family attraction. The two best ways to see the marine life is via the glass bottom boat ride or by walking through the all-glass tunnel.
Over at Dolphin Bay in Atlantis, your family can spend time swimming with the dolphins. This is easily one of the best places to see during your vacation in Dubai with kids.
The desert in Dubai can be a lot of fun. Especially when your family takes the time to do a little sandboarding or takes a desert safari. Camel riding is also an amazing experience in Dubai, so make sure you add that to your list of things to do.
These are some of the best places to see during a family vacation in Dubai. There are many other family friendly activities and attractions for you to consider as well. I can share them with you, as I am planning your family vacation in Dubai.
