Are you ready to start cruising the Caribbean with your family? Do you want to make memories that matter while seeing some of the most beautiful islands in the world? Well, I have discovered some of the best islands in the Caribbean. Each one is worthy of family vacations. And they all have plenty of things to do when you are off the ship and on the island. Today, I am going to share the best islands to visit when you are cruising the Caribbean.
Almost everyone I know wants to spend a few days on the island of Aruba. And who can blame them for wanting to be in paradise!
Time in Aruba can be spent relaxing on the sand, participating in water sports, or mingling with new friends at a beach bar. Visit Oranjestad for cheese tasting adventures. Head to the Butterfly Farm to see a tropical jungle. And go kitesurfing in Boca Grandi if you are searching for a few thrills.
There is no limit to what you can do in Aruba while cruising the Caribbean.
It is all about the culture, nature, and laid-back vibes in the British Virgin Islands. There are four main islands, as well as approximately sixty smaller islands for you to visit there.
The best time to visit these islands is outside of hurricane season. If you plan your trip right, you can avoid the storms and enjoy the island activities. Some of those activities include walking through the rainforests, snorkeling near coral reefs, and sailing out on the crystal-clear water.
These two islands are known for their sparkling white beaches, as well as lush rainforests. A stop in St. John’s Port is exactly what you will need when cruising the Caribbean. As soon as you step off the ship, you will be ready to explore all the sights.
On Antigua, a visit to Nelson’s Dockyard is a must. And yet, on Barbuda, it is all about the tiny pink seashells on Pink Sand Beach and the drinks at John’s Beach Bar. There are many other beaches you can visit while in Antigua and Barbuda too!
You won’t need to spend all your time near the shoreline either. Your family can make memories while caving and hiking on the northern shore of Barbuda.
Saint Barthelemy is mainly known as St. Barts to many travelers. This is one of the smaller Caribbean Islands. There is still plenty to do on the island. Plus, the best part is you can really get to know the locals during your visit.
Oh, and you may run into a celebrity or two during your visit. They love spending time on this Caribbean Island.
The main island of Saint Vincent is the main draw in this part of the Caribbean. However, you may want to consider heading out to one of the nine inhabited islands nearby.
One of the favorite things to do on this Caribbean Island is sailing around Admiralty Bay. During that sailing adventure, you can stop at Bequia Island to visit the turtle sanctuary. If your family wants to snorkel, I recommend a trip to Tobago Cays. You can see lots of marine life near the reef there.
These are the best islands to check out while cruising the Caribbean. You can easily visit them, as well as many of the other Caribbean Islands during a family cruise. Simply let me know where your family wants to go, and I will personalize your family trip itinerary during a cruise that visits those destinations.
