Summer is quickly approaching and that means it is time to tackle your next family vacation. As a mom of six, it took me a while to learn that these vacation memories are precious. And it wasn’t until one of my kids was walking across the stage to graduate that I realized I better take more family vacations now. After all, I can’t guarantee my kids will be able to take them with me forever! If you are looking to have an amazing family vacation this year, I recommend boarding a private jet to explore the East Coast.
Using a private jet for your next family vacation will allow you to see more of the East Coast in a short amount of time. Plus, you won’t have the long boarding times and delays since there aren’t hundreds of people on the same plane as you. The best part though is using a private jet to take you to each destination is more affordable than you think. So, you won’t be shelling out hundreds of thousands of dollars for a single vacation.
I know you love your kids and spouse, but probably not that much!
So, where could you possibly go during a seven-day family vacation on the East Coast?
This memory-making journey can begin by the majestic Niagara Falls. There is nothing more exhilarating than walking below the falls during a Cave of the Winds experience. The only thing better will be seeing the falls from a different perspective during the Hornblower Cruise.
I recommend having a waterproof camera with you for both these family adventures. You will definitely want to have pictures to document what happened during each activity.
After a full day in Niagara Falls, your family will board the private jet and head up to Toronto. History and nature are the two topics of the day there. Your family will love the boat ride through the Devil’s Hole rapids. And downtime will be welcome at Old Fort Niagara, Aquarium of Niagara, and the Erie Canal.
Before you know it, you will all have a sugar high on day three of this whirlwind family vacation exploring the East Coast! Do you remember how your kids would sneak so much chocolate when they were younger, they were sick? Well, they may attempt that again now during your visit of Hershey Chocolate Factory.
Craft loving kids may skip the chocolate though if they really want to be capable of making candles later in the day.
You probably have conversations with your kids every day. However, the conversations you have while exploring Amish Country in Pennsylvania will be quite different. You may learn a few things about your kids that you never knew.
The conversations may change with each new location too. Imagine what they will say when they learn the Amish do not have cars and use a horse-drawn buggy instead. Or how they farm like they did back in the 1800s.
It’s a completely different world in this part of the country and your kids will soak it all in.
If you haven’t been to Washington DC as a family yet, flying there on a private jet will be an experience you will never forget. You will all want to put on your walking shoes, because you will cover a lot of ground during this part of your family vacation. Don’t worry though, you have your last three days of exploring the East Coast to soak it all in.
During your first day in DC, you will see sights like the White House, Washington Monument, Capitol, Pentagon, and Supreme Court. Add in all the monuments and memorials and you will have more than enough to talk about over dinner.
The next day includes wandering around Mount Vernon, exploring Smithsonian Museums, and taking a boat ride on the Potomac. Arlington National Cemetery is where you will spend most of your last day of vacation.
Your family will all fall silent during the Changing of the Guard. And you never know who’s graves you might see, as you walk around the grounds.
At the end of the day, you will be quite happy to board the private jet for the final time. Everyone will be tired. And yet, no one will sleep, because there will be too many memories to relive during the plane ride home.
As a travel advisor, I can make trips like this a reality for your family. I focus on what your family wants during a vacation instead of having you take the same trip as everyone else. That plus my attention to detail ensures you all enjoy every second of your family vacation as you explore the East Coast via a private jet.
