Outside of Baltimore, in the city of Fallston, is where you will find Log Cabin Chocolates. This chocolatier opened back in 1920. It has been satisfying sweet tooths ever since. Chocolate is everywhere at this store. You will find all types of handmade chocolate. Plus, fudge and holiday candies. Their most purchased item, though, is the log cabin bars. The bars are made from nougatine, caramel, pecans, and milk chocolate.
This chocolate store normally closes during the months of June through August. It is simply too hot during those months, and the chocolate melts. So, plan your visit accordingly.
Rheb’s Candies has been open for more than one hundred years. Some of the employees are fourth-generation workers. You will find this shop on a street corner. It is in a building that looks like it may be part of a movie set. If you don’t think you will notice it quickly enough, simply look for the building with a line out the door and down the block.
Once it is your turn, order the truffles and turtles. You won’t be disappointed.
You will find all types of unique chocolate treats at Sweet Cascades Chocolatier near Baltimore. If you love chocolate, this may want to be your first stop. You will find all sorts of s’mores creations. The favorite option is made with graham crackers, marshmallows, Nutella, and chocolate.
Other unique chocolates include chocolate-dipped caramels with Old Bay seasoning, chocolate crabs, and chocolate bacon. Order a little of everything to find your personal favorite.
European truffles, chocolate with nuts and fruit, and specialty holiday chocolates are all available at this chocolate store in Baltimore. In the spring, you must purchase chocolate-covered strawberries. The locals all love the Sagamore Rye whiskey chocolates, though.
Gluten-free options are available at this chocolate store near Baltimore. Many chocolate candies have honey instead of sugar. That substitution creates the velvety texture of the chocolates at this store. Popular items include the chocolate-dipped potato chip and the dark chocolate-covered almonds that are sprinkled with cinnamon.
This chocolate shop was opened in 1915 by Herman Charles Wockenfuss. Four generations of family members currently make all the chocolate in the store today. You will find multiple stores in Baltimore now. So, head to the one that is closest to where you are staying.
