Stare at the Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the entire world, so you are going to want to stop and stare at it when you first see it. This incredible building stands at eight hundred twenty-eight meters, and you can go up to the observation deck, which is on level 124, to see spectacular views of the city.

See the Show at the Dubai Fountain

Right outside the Burj Khalifa is the Dubai Fountain, and it is the best place to see a free show in the city. The water dances to the music and there are lights for the performances that take place after the sun goes down.

Enjoy a Few Adventures at Kite Beach

While you can easily relax in the sand at Kite Beach during your vacation in Dubai, I think you will choose to participate in the numerous water sports that are popular there. Don’t forget your camera, though, because you can capture magnificent pictures of the Burj Al Arab from your spot on the sand.

Explore the Dubai Desert

The desert outside the city of Dubai is nice and hot, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t go out there and explore it! While you can take a camel ride, I recommend sticking to quad bikes and off-road vehicles because it is better for everyone. While you can take a basic tour of the desert, you may want to do a tour that includes one of the infamous BBQs that are held every day.

Visit the Historical Neighborhood of Al Fahidi

The neighborhood of Al Fahidi is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the entire city. You can take a tour of this area during your vacation in Dubai, but honestly, you will see and learn so much more if you simply walk around. While you are visiting, you should take the time to enter the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding because that is where you can tour a mosque, learn Arabic, and go on a heritage tour.

Go Shopping at the Dubai Mall

No one can visit Dubai and not at least enter the massive Dubai Mall. This mall is filled with more than one thousand stores, as well as one hundred fifty restaurants. There is also an ice rink, indoor waterfall, indoor theme park, and the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
