Experiencing the thrills and excitement of a waterpark is not something you need to do close to your own home. Although, that is what many people think! There are plenty of extraordinary waterparks throughout the United States. But did you also know that there are quite a few waterparks around the world? A few of those international water parks can be even more exciting than the ones by your house. And the best part is you can explore a faraway destination at the same time.
Tropical Islands is the largest resort in all of Europe, and the waterpark there will not disappoint. You can spend an entire day at the Tropical Islands waterpark and still not have a chance to experience it all. It is recommended you begin with the eight slides over in Jungle Splash. Then head over to the Tropical Sea or the Lagoon. If you are looking for a slightly bigger adventure, check out the Waterslide Tower. It is the tallest waterslide tower in the country, and there are four different slides to choose from.
Beach Park is the largest waterpark in South America. It is easy for people of all ages to turn into a kid again during a visit. Many families will spend their days at the attractions that include Aquabismo, Noah’s Ark, and Treasure Island. However, if your children are older or you want to experience more thrills, you may want to consider trying out Hupa and Hopa or Insane. The best part about this waterpark is there are private cabins available. That means you can get a little rest and relaxation while everyone else in your family is having fun in the sun!
There are five acres filled with water-filled adventures at World Waterpark in Edmonton. While your little ones will love the Caribbean Cruiser and Dolphin Kiddie Pool, the older kids will spend their time on the Howler and Blue Bullet. Add in a little time on the SkyFlyer Zipline and in the Blue Thunder Wave Pool, and you will have a family vacation to remember forever.
If you plan on spending time at a waterpark while you are visiting Dubai, you must choose Wild Wadi Waterpark! Breakers Bay is the largest wave pool in the Middle East, and the waves soar to one and a half meters high. Once you have conquered the waves, it will be time to test your skills on the Rushing Rapids, Falcon Fury, and the Wadi Twister. In between riding all the slides, you can easily grab a bite to eat at one of the three on-site restaurants.
Waterbom may be a waterpark, but they strive to keep half of their acreage as green space. All that green space means you will have ample opportunities to see some of the native wildlife roaming around in this part of Bali. Most of the water rides are for extreme thrill seekers, but there are a couple of mellower options if you need them. After surviving rides on Climax, Fast n Fierce, and Twin Racers, you will be more than ready to relax as you ride along the Lazy River.
The Ramayana Waterpark is considered the biggest and best waterpark in all of Thailand. This waterpark was constructed on what was once an ancient and long-forgotten city. You can explore many of the ancient buildings of that city, along with a few of the remaining walls, sculptures, and a waterfall or two.
Families of all sizes will love the two different dedicated kid zones, as well as the geysers and activity pools. The best part about this waterpark, though,` is the lazy river that flows through mystical caves. It is highly recommended that you rush over to the lazy river as soon as you arrive in the morning because it gets busy, and then take at least one more ride before you leave at the end of the day.
You will find the Grand Memories Splash Resort in Punta Cana. This is one of the few all-inclusive resorts that has a water park on the grounds. While all those other resorts have a waterpark, none of them come close in size or adventure to Grand Memories Splash. This massive international water park is just steps from Bavaro Beach, and it is the perfect option for kids of all ages! Whether you have planned a romantic trip for two or a family vacation with the kids, you will have an incredible time at this international water park.
There are seven different water slides, plus a plethora of tubes, spray grounds, and splash pads. Add in the wave pool, and you will find yourself occupied for hours. Don’t forget to grab some drinks while you’re lounging by the pool to make this waterpark vacation one you will remember for a lifetime!
Siam Park has been rated as the number one waterpark in the world six times now, and that probably will not stop any time soon. This waterpark is divided into three different sections called Relax, Family, and Adrenalin. They all ensure that you can choose the area that fits your needs the most or at least know where everyone in your group is during your visit.
When you are spending time with your family, you will probably find yourself on rides that include Jungle Snake, The Lost City, and Naga Racer. However, when you are ready for more of a challenge, it will be all about the Mekong Rapids, Tower of Power, and The Vulcano! Don’t worry; everyone can meet up again for a little downtime on the Mai Thai River or in a cabana at Siam Beach.
These are the best international water parks. You are going to want to plan your future family vacations so you can visit them all!
